Emma McIntyre graduated with a BVA (Painting) from AUT University in 2011, and an MFA from University of Auckland's Elam School of Fine Arts in 2016. In 2019 she was awarded a Fulbright General Graduate award to study an MFA at ArtCenter College of Design, Pasadena, that she completed in 2021. Emma is represented by Chateau Shatto, Los Angeles.
